Spoon and Fork Restaurant Queensway-Islington Village Etobicoke

Living in Etobicoke you have so many choices of great restaurants and bars. I’ve heard so many great things about Spoon and Fork on the Queensway near Islington Village that opened up recently so I decided to check it out with my wife. The exterior was nothing short of contemporary modern with a twist of zen. I truly was very excited to find out what kind of decor they decided to go with inside. I was immediately impressed with the stylish high end decor, great clean lines and a fantastic choice of lighting throughout the whole space, kind of reminded me of a restaurant in London England that we were at in August, dark, simple and high end looking.

Depending on the time of day you go, you can either choose the all you can eat option or pick through the menu. We got there at about 10:30 on a Friday night, and the waiter told us we had 40 seconds to order. Guess what he was really back in forty seconds to take our order. I ordered the Mango Chicken plate which comes with Slices of fresh mango, lychee, stir fried with chicken breast in a rich mango sauce and roasted cashew nuts. It was amazing!

I’m so glad to see another great restaurant decide to call South Etobicoke it’s home, great for the community of Islington Village and the Queenway. I would definaly like to see more restarutas like this come into the area.

If you’re willing to pay a little extra than average for dinner, I highly recommend Spoon and Fork for a unique and tasty dining experience in Etobicoke!
